Got news from Theo that a Redwing we ringed at Kex Gill in October 2006 had been controlled in Vikenbann Derde Kroonspolder Holland on the 24 October 2008 a distance of 453 miles km and 742 days.

nice to see our bird being mentioned on your blog. Only: the coordinates on the Dutch part of the map are wrong. The pointer is showing the island of Texel, but the catch-site is situated on the island towards the north of Texel, the next island on the map...
